Yogis in Service work with the Community in the following ways:
- We sponsor and deliver YIS yoga via our teachers and trauma-sensitive and/or growth oriented yoga practice and curriculum- always at the YIS studio and across WNY in specific, on-mission programs that we believe are promoting health and wellness across WNY.
- We work by contract to provide the yoga teachers and trauma-sensitive and/or growth oriented yoga practice and curriculum to your school or program. We are happy to help schools provide wellness programming.
- We partner with other yoga studios/schools/programs/teachers to offer YIS-aligned programming (it must be aligned with our mission) across WNY.
- We teach yoga teachers and service providers YIS trauma-sensitive and growth oriented yoga practices and social emotional learning curriculum.

Previous Projects Conducted by Yogis in Service
In our partnerships across Buffalo, Yogis in Service has made wonderful friends. We have worked with the following programs. We are very grateful for our connections past and present.
Metro CDC/Delavan Grider Community Center
Low-income youth, senior citizens, and families experience many stressors. Yogis in service partnered with the center to empower the kids who attended the center to help them negotiate and manage those stressors. The introduction of yoga and its principles is an opportunity for the community that we serve to try something different in a familiar atmosphere, thereby eliminating a possible stressor. This program was offered from April 27-June 22, 2015. The students are now offered programming in their after school program and not at the centers. So YIS moved its recourses to the YIS studio. Thank you Grider for your partnership.
YIS partnered with RE for the Spring 2015 season. We had so much fun. Thank you RE. For more info on RE see this link.
